This is a very bad deal and it's really what UAD is all about these days, because Plugin Alliance and Softube plugins account for most of the UAD portfolio, and with the native versions of those plugins you get free upgrades, you can pick up Plugin Alliance versions for $19 - $29, and you can run way more instances on your computer than you can on in the UAD DSP. Yes, I own an UAD Apollo x8, love it, and have lots of their best plugins.
